Global Screen Picks Up English language live-action family movie ODDBALL

Global Screen has picked up world-wide distribution rights to English language live-action family movie ODDBALL coming from the producers of “Little Fish” (starring Cate Blanchett), Ronan Keating’s musical film “Goddess”, “American Pie” and “Final Destination”.
ODDBALL tells the incredible true story of eccentric Australian chicken farmer Swampy Marsh, whoplaces his friendly but clumsy sheep dog on an island off the coast to protect a Fairy Penguin populationthat is being endangered by foxes. It is the beginning of a very odd friendship between two unexpected animals - and Swampy’s big chance to keep his family together and save the town.
The heart-warming program features excellent performances by Shane Jacobson (Australian break-out hit“Kenny”), Sarah Snook ("Steve Jobs", “Predestination”) and Alan Tudyk (“Frozen”, “I, Robot”, “Death at a Funeral”).It is directed by Stuart McDonald and produced by WTFN/The Film Company and Practical Pictures and Kmunications with the support of Screen Australia, Film Victoria and Fox International Channels. Currently in post-production, ODDBALL will be released to Australian cinemas by Village Roadshowlater this year.
