The vintner's house belonging to the wine-growing Lüscher family is in flames. An Australian guest who slept there, manages to escape at the last minute before the house explodes due to a gas bottle stored there. During the explosion family head Peter Lüscher dies. The cause of the fire is quickly discovered. It was arson. A whole line of people come in question for the attack. Was it son Christian,  a recovering alcoholic? Did future son-in-law Thomas, the owner of a wine shop, commit the act? Or is daughter Sandra behind the attack on the Australian - out of disillusioned love? Luc, Anna-Maria and Reto Doerig hit upon a dark family secret during their investigation.
