The attack on the governor has set off a new debate in parliament about security, during which it is decided that the Bavarian police should be equipped with new weapons. Alfons Zischl sees it as a way to ensure the armaments factory in his district will get some new contracts. But before that can happen, he has to outmaneuver his rival in parliament, Diana Knaacke-Weibling, who has made quite a name for herself as one of the few women parliamentarians in their party and isn’t any less scheming than her male opponents. To extricate himself from an unpleasant personal situation, Zischl must resort to a little white lie and tells Marie that he has prostate cancer. When Heidi suggests an alternative treatment for it, Zischl finds himself in a sweat lodge on a catastrophic drug trip…
