Saved in extremis by Bouazi, Lili feels hopeless. If she is effectively Marc's sister, she must put a term to her pregnancy. Finally understanding how crazy and dangerous Hortense is (Hortense is Bouazi's mistress), and knowing she is still persuaded that Lili is her sister, Bouazi releases Marc whom he was holding prisoner and asks for backup. But Hortense kills Bouazi.
We find Monod in the Vosges where he is continuing his enquiry. He calls Nicole, who is infinitely relieved to know that he is still alive. She confides in him: she believes Lili is carrying Marc's baby. Those two have been in love forever. Jacques promises to sort everything out and manages to pass to Marc the DNA test results that he had done using Lili's toothbrush and the blood sample taken from Nicole, and which is also negative. Lili and Marc are not brother and sister! Marc has to find Lili before she undergoes her pregnancy termination.
Based on the best-selling novel “Un avion sans elle” by Michel Bussi
